Test Car Hire

Hire a Ford Focus for your driving test in the Mallow & Wilton area. Many learners prefer a car they’ve practiced in to reduce stress and feel confident.

To hire the car for a driving test, you must complete at least one lesson with Abbey Motoring School beforehand. This ensures safety and familiarity with the car (controls, clutch bite, steering feel).

Cancelations or no-shows will incure of 50% of the fee.

  • Optional short warm-up drive before the test

How to book

Note about car hire

If you plan to hire the test car, you must complete at least one lesson first. Book a pre-test lesson to get comfortable with the car and reduce nerves on the day.
